The start and finish lines are at the Butlers Chocolates Visitors Centre, Clonshaugh Business & Technology Park, Coolock, Co. Dublin. You can get directions via the map below. Registration opens at 8am on 7th September and the cycle gets underway at 9am.


Both distances will take you along the beautiful coastal route from Clonshaugh to Louth and back. Route maps will be available soon.

We are asking for a minimum donation of €250 to participate in Cycle for HOPE. Obviously, the more you can donation the better! 

All donations received will be used to fund HOPE's new Resource and Education Centre and Crèche, which will provide support and hope for children with special needs that live on the streets or in the slums of Kolkata, India

Cycle for HOPE has two routes for you to choose from - the traditional 145km route or the 85km route.

The event caters for all skill levels. During registration you can choose between the following levels:

  • 28KPH for advanced riders
  • 25 KPH for intermediate riders
  • 22 KPH for riders that prefer a more steady pace

Yes. The minimum age for participants is 18.

Free parking will be available to participants. Unfortunately we will not able to provide shower and changing facilities.

Yes, there will be complimentary refreshments before and after the cycle as well as at various stops along the route.

There will be lots of chocolate and coffee after the event!

Yes you can still take part if you're not a Cycling Ireland member. We will arrange day insurance for you.

Groups will have marshalls with them and back up services will be available as well as medical support.

After registering for the cycle you will have the option to pay the donation immediately or begin fundraising using the popular everydayhero fundraising platform.
